- Applying for CME credits

On 10 April 2010 the UEMS Section and Board of Vascular Surgery signed in London an agreement with the UEMS EACCME (European Accreditation Council for CME) on the procedure of official accreditation of CME credits in vascular surgery in the EU members states and the United States of America.

 

This has lead to a new procedure in applying for European CME credits and we would kindly ask you to register your application through the EACCME's website: http://www.eaccme.eu/

 All the documents below are available on EACCME's website and you are requested to upload some of the documents during the registration.

Please note the following major changes in the procedure:


  1. 1.Application must be uploaded at least 6 weeks prior to the event
  2. 2.Invoice are issued upon registration and are based on the number of participants
  3. 3.Accreditation of CME points are not issued to the organisers before the invoice has been settled
  4. 4.Calculation of CME points are as follows:
    • 1 ECMEC per hour; however
    • 3 ECMEC max for half-day; and
    • 6 ECMEC max for a full-day event
  5. 5.Accredition and certificate will be sent from the EACCME office directly
